roses and leaves 薔薇と葉っぱ
This design, repeated over and over, would make very pretty striped material which would make a lovely dress, yukata, or even a pocketbook.

The Happy Skeleton Goes Into Space
Here are three color choices of the same design. The busy design could be at the bottom of the garment with the other design filling in the top.
My husband's sculpture
My husband is a stone and wood sculptor. This is a piece he carved out of granite.
We both very much like Day of the Dead art. This is a piece using wood, paint, and metal.
This is also wood, paint, and metal. It is a spirit figure.
Here's an older group of things he made in the past. These are both granite and sandstone pieces.
This is an angel he is still working on. To see more of his sculpture you can visit http://carltonartfactory.blogspot.com/ . You can buy his art at http://www.etsy.com/shop/CarltonARTfactory

卵の殻のブローチとペンダント Eggshell brooches and pendants
I made this pin by writing on goose eggshell with hot beeswax
and dyeing the different colors onto the shell. Then I acid-
etch the pattern into the shell. This is the eight-pointed star which
symbolizes life itself, purity, and the Divine Will or Eye of God. It
can be worn as a pin or a pendant. It's a little more than 3 1/2
centimeters tall.
This one was made the same way. In the Ukrainian tradition, birds
symbolize fulfillment of wishes, fertility, and pushing away evil. Trees
symbolize renewal and creation.
Flowers symbolize the female principle; love, charity, elegance, beauty,
and wisdom.
Here's what the back looks like.

たまご Some of my eggs
The happy skeleton is a series I made up because I love Day of the Dead art. The Day of the Dead is a religious holiday celebrated in Mexico and other Latin American countries to remember and pray for members of the family who have died.
